Ok, now I’m really confused. What plugin should I use? **Which one has the fewest bugs right know and works with the launcher version? **As I read this, the official plugins seems basically not really useable?
Which one is the most reliable and works with Blueprint-driven characters?
Many thanks.
Plugin 2 and 3 are the same one and in fact they’re a fork from Plugin 1 which appears to be dead atm.
Official plugin should be available in the 4.8 binary, and the unofficial plugin (2 and 3 in your list) is a drag and drop installation.
See https://community.leapmotion.com/t/official-ue4-plugin/2503 for the official plugin documentation
and
Get started with our plugins for XR developers - Ultraleap documentation for a blog entry and a 3 part series on how to use the unofficial plugin.
Hope that clarifies things!

So…sorry getnamo, a little bit confused here, i already have a project on UE 4.81 that needs leap motion compatibility. Can i use your unofficial plugin (event driven) and is it stable? Cause the official has an awfull jitter on the fingers, and the solution requieres time that sadly i don´t have.
Thanks in advence!

Isn't there a actual Linux version of the driver for modern version of Unreal? I… know that there wouldn't be a lot of people that uses **Linux + Unreal + LeapMotion**... but now I'm on that condition, because I want to buy a device to use like this.
If not... what are the options to use a Leap controller inside Unreal 5.0? An unofficial one?
If there is no official / non official plugin... is it possible to write an Unreal C++ plugin using Leap SDK for Linux? How hard could it be?
