I just switched to forward shading and it has been great with one exception. In my level I have a simple laser beam material that turns on and off every half second. After updating, when this material turns on, about 40% of the time it renders with a huge amount of noise in the laser and looks distorted and glitched at random parts along the laser. This only happens when viewing it in VR! It also seems to happen more when the laser is across the room. I tried recreating the laser in different ways using no particles at all, only a emissive cylinder, and the problem was identical. I found that in one level the laser rendered correctly, but in another it did not even if deleted every thing in the level but the laser. It just seems like there is something going on that when an emmisive material is made visable and turns on, it does not render smoothly and nice as it should. Any ideas of directions I can go on this would be greatly appreciated as it is driving me mad currently.
