Normal - UEFN - When selecting triangles in modeling mode (apply material mode) you get no selection texture

As seen in the gif, selecting a triangle creates a no texture material rather than highlighting the triangle red like UE5.

Hey @Wertandrew , this is a known UEFN bug that I’ve been experiencing too, since at least last Thursday. It affects multiple modeling tools including MatEd, PolyEd, TriEd, and GrpGen. This is a huge problem for me, because modeling is the main thing need to work on in my project. Seems like you’re one of the other creators who relies on the modeling tools somewhat.

Yesterday @endofthehall commented that this problem has been fixed on the latest internal build, so hopefully we’ll see it fixed on our end soon (it’s currently still broken for me at this moment).

yep, this is fixed. I don’t have an exact eta on when the next version will be released, sorry.

Glad to hear it! Do you have any ballpark idea? Like, are we talking days or weeks? I need to know if I should start using a different modeling and texturing program outside of UEFN. I could also use UE5 but that kind of defeats a big part of the purpose of why I’m choosing to learn to model in UEFN - I want to model inside of the editor.
