Normal - UEFN - Verse rebuild button does nothing

UnrealEditorFortnite.log (3.7 MB)

When pressing “Rebuild” in the shown popup, nothing happens.

UnrealEditorFortnite-Win64-Shipping_PyLKJoeBd5

If I press “Cancel”, I get this message:
UnrealEditorFortnite-Win64-Shipping_unCliIW6Sh

If I close the window (through the X), editor crashes:

Pressing “Continue” allowed me to open the project.

I feel like I’m getting to all these threads way too late so sorry about that. The intention of the dialog here is for you to go out to VS Code to fix the compilation errors there, then come back and ‘rebuild’. In the video you can see the toast pop up with 204 compile errors each time you press the button, so it is triggering the build. However, we’re not trying to ‘fix’ anything with that button. If they had been fixed externally, the rebuild should let you through the dialog if you got to 0 errors. It’s pretty clunky in this version.

The dialog in the next release will be much more clear as it will actually list the errors there in the dialog, and have a button to open VS code to your project for you.
