screen it is a tunnel that I made with simple cubes and on the right the tunnel with “Modelling Mode”. The difference is big. In the left tunnel it is dark very fast but in the right tunnel, there is no shadow.
As you can see on the second screen, I have check “Cast Shadow” for the right tunnel.
Probably needs to get converted to a static mesh and distance fields enabled. You can check the lumen debug views under lit to see what’s going on with the lighting.
I’m kind of stuck with the same issue, where I’m generating a static mesh with CubeGrid, but then there are no Distance Fields generated (at least thats what I understand so far).
So when switching into Lumen Overview mode, the objects is not at all visible to lumen.
But then at some random point, the all of a sudden start to work.
