Niagara VFX surface reflections

Hello, Im doing a course on Udemy by Vince Petrelli. The course like his other courses has been great but I noticed that his Niagara VFX give off light and reflect in the environment whereas mine do not with Lumen enabled.
Im using unreal engine 5.3.1 but I also tried this in 5.2.1 and got the same result.

The image below is mine:

And this is from the course video:

The reflections on the ground are very evidently missing from the first image.

Im not sure what Im missing? Have any of you faced the same thing and found a solution to it?

Do you have lumen reflections turned on in the post process volume / project settings?

These are my Rendering settings

Your post process effect seems to be setup properly.

How strong is your emissive material? If you increase the strength will it increase the light casting? I would look closer at something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AO5I0yJEcPY

The issue is that reflections work with SSR but there is no reflections or GI from niagara particles even with emission output multiplied by 3000 in material.
Not sure why this an issue with lumen GI which should work perfectly well with emissive material

Any solutions for this? Iā€™m having the exact same problem.

Edit: Figured it out from the course Q&A section:

You go to the material settings and change translucency pass to this:
24-07-11

Or alternatively you can set the blend mode to opaque or masked.
