Hey, I’ve bought the plugin and it works great, though I have a couple issue.

I cannot package the game under Shipping Win32. (Shipping Win 64 appears to work)

I get the following error :

MainFrameActions: Packaging (Windows (32-bit)): UnrealBuildTool: LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file ‘PROJECT LOCATION\Plugins\Neoglyphic\NeoFur\Binaries\Win32\UE4-NeoFur-Win32-Shipping.lib’

I also get what looks like flickering / flashing - much like Z-fighting - as well as a few splotches of fur in areas that are black in the growth texture (and even some in some areas where geometry has been deleted from the growth mesh)

The soft look is amazing, a big improvement.

@cman2k - It appears the flickering is actually because I am using a world position offset shader on my character (which I also added to the fur master material) - which is required for my game’s effect of curving the world and the characters within. Just tried building a few times again, definitely won’t package Win32, same error every time. Win64 works fine.

Also, those 4.11 improvements look fantastic :smiley:

Hey cman2k!

First off NeoFur looks epic and I can’t wait to use it. Just grabbed the personal licence but I’m having some issues installing it. I’ve tried following the installation guide you guys provide but I’m still not having much luck.

I’ve tried putting the entire Neoglyphic folder into my main UE4/engine/plugins folder and I’ve copied a version into my Project’s folder in mydocuments after making a Plugin folder for it. I can get most of it to work within the editor but the issue I’ve got is that I can’t find the Materials/textures.

Following your vid- (- YouTube) I’m fine right up until 2:35, then I just can’t find them- Any ideas what I’m doing wrong here? Assuming it’s just me being a derp.

This looks absolutely amazing, I’m very impressed with what you’ve accomplished with this plugin and I intend to purchase a personal license before long.

One small question - do you know if this will work with a VXGI-compiled version of the engine or do I need to grab a source license? VXGI is critical for lighting the majority of my scenes, hence I’ve yet to upgrade beyond 4.10.x

Hey guys! I bought the plugin (AMAZING PLUGIN!), but I have a small problem. Using morph targets crashes my project (4.11), and I am not sure why! Your documentation says that I should be able to use it no problem but it giving me issues.

Any idea what it could be?

Great, thx for the coupon. I upgraded and now I can build. No problem and I can build with no error but when I try to run the standalone game I get this error :

“Plugin ‘NeoFur’ failed to load because module ‘NeoFur’ could not be found. Please ensure the plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project.”

Any idea what causes this ?
