Nanite Foliage: Weird Geometry Artifacts on Mesh?

When using Nanite foliage, some foliage assets have these weird artifacts when viewing from a distance. The issue seems to resolve itself when viewing the mesh from close up though.

I’ve ruled out “Preserve Area” and “Fall Back Mesh” being potential culprits, but I’m really not sure what is happening here. Curious if anyone else has seen this or had this happen to them.
