I am using mrae maps for my spec, metallic and rough values which are images that i plug in the red channel for the spec, the green for metallic and the blue for the roughness.
I am trying to give an object 0.3 roughness on a specific area and if i plug in a constant node on 0.3 value or a 0.3 grey color node it looks like the 1st picture
If i plug in the blue channel or a 0.3 brightness blue picture (which is supposed to be desaturated) it looks like the 2nd picture.
I tried running the blue channel through a desaturate node but it didnt work.
I want my material to look like the 1st picture while using the blue channel method, any ideas on why this is happening?
