Moving Hierarchical Instanced Static Mesh Components flicker in visibility

Hey all,

I have vehicles that are being moved down splines for a VR project. I decided to make the vehicles HISMs to keep draws down (I also set their cull distance). I have thousands of vehicles (only the nearby ones move / have any code active). When I am in the scene however, they are flickering like crazy. Here is a video demonstrating the issue:

Does anyone know how to fix this? I would greatly appreciate it!
