I’m having some issues with the Movie Render Queue taking very long to render on my laptop. I am using an RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, and have an RTX 3090 PC as well. If I render the same project on my PC, everything runs very smooth and the frames are rendered in seconds, and viewing my GPU usage on Task Manager is showing very consistent usage on my GPU, however, on my laptop the GPU jumps from 0-100% every second, and the renders take up to 5 minutes per frame.
Any ideas on what could be the issue, or what I could look into to solve this?
Heya @AreWeGaming , I’ve checked this video out. Doesn’t help my issue unfortunately as it is only a tutorial on how to use movie render queue. Thanks though.
@AreWeGaming thanks again for the video! I have tried all of these mentioned solutions in this video before posting here, sadly no changes whatsoever to my rendering issue. Massively lowering the resolution doesn’t make any difference whatsoever either. My GPU usage still goes from 0-100% and moves back and forth as well as takes ages to render. Unreal Engine doesn’t crash for me during the rendering, it just seems like it’s not utilizing my GPU to it’s fullest for some reason and keeps jumping up and down.
Yeah! I’m thinking something’s happening with my GPU, or maybe a setting i’m missing that needs to be sorted out. It works fine with everything else though. Running my project in the engine + games run very smoothly. It’s just the movie render queue that’s giving me issues in this.
