Hello, so for the past two days I’ve had some very wierd issues with the moderation of one my UEFN maps.
The map in question is Ultimate Motocross (6753-9578-9053), I released this map in June after months working on it and I was really proud of the map.
The launch was awesome and I’ve gotten so much good feedback on the map
Here comes the issue, My map was rejected for epic picks a few weeks ago, the reason was “Environment needs improvement”. So during the last few weeks I’ve changed a lot on the map to improve the envirement, fixed render issues with landscapes, changed sections on the map that looked a bit wierd and some other things.
Yesterday I decided that I was happy with the changes, so I pushed a new version, with the same description, same thumbnail, basically the same trailer (except that I updated some gameplay parts so its from the updated parts of the map.
Map was denied for (Keep It Authentic - * One or more introductions). I was not sure what the issue was and I’ve had rejections before that didnt make sense so I’ve published the same version again and it was approved.
Fast forward a few days, I made some changes to some assets on the map and pushed a new update again, it was approved no problem.
Then yesterday, the thumbnail and trailer was removed from the map, without me being notified anywhere why, which I thought was wierd since I’ve had the same thumbnail and trailer (except some clip changes) since the map was launched and I have never had any issues.
So I decided to republish the same private code, since the trailer/thumbnail was gone but I havent gotten any information so I assume it was a bug.
Then it was rejected for (1.11 Keep It Authentic - The Description). Which was any wierder since I’ve had the same description since launch and everything stated in the description is from the actual map.
Then a friend of mine told me that me having “Level Up Your Speed In Super Jump” Could have possible triggered the system thinking it was some hint of XP, which its not.
So I reworded that section yesterday, published a new version that was accepted in 10 minutes. It didnt take more than 1 hour then my thumbnail/trailer was removed again without notifying me again, not a single email, nothing in the creator dashboard.
Everything in my thumbnail, trailer and description represents the map and the experience.
Then I realised that with the updated map version, I changed music in the trailer to another track from the fortnite asset pack, which I thought was ok, but I was a bit worried that that might be it, even though I havent gotten any information in why the trailer/thumbnail was removed.
So I decided to remove the music from the trailer and publish a version without it.
Then that version was denied aswell, but this time it gave me this error (1.11 Keep It Authentic - * An asset in your project: /Content/Billboards/coinshopbill.uasset"
Which is really wierd, since coinshopbill is a billboard on my map, showing the way to a “coin shop” section of the map where the players can use Coins, they get when completing different parts of the map to buy upgrades, unlock new levels and vehicles.
Now Im starting to get really worried, since the activity of the map has taken a real hit because of the issues.
So I contacted Player Support, I wrote basically everything I’ve done here, explained the issues, that I havent broken any creator content rules and I needed help.
A few minutes ago, I got the last reply and she ended the support request, where the support person said:
Which makes no sense at all, since island code (9389-0562-7844?v1) was rejected from publish because of the coinshopbill billboard asset in the map, not the thumbnail and she didnt even address any of the other issues I had with the random removal of my trailer/thumbnail or the false rejected versions.
What shall I do? Im afraid to publish any more versions since I’ve gotten these 3 denials which does not make any sense, but also 2 a few months ago that didnt even give me a reason at all.
Im a fulltime content creator and have been since 2018, been streaming over 10,000 hours fortnite and over 2000 videos, so my support-a-creator code and custom game access is really important, aswell as the ability to build and publish maps which I love and have done for years, but I dont want to risk my code/publishing rights.
