Metahuman (Body) groom won't stay attached during animation.

Hello, I am having a issue with the groom I have created for my Wolf character and the groom for the body will not animate. When I move the BP the groom keeps the binding but only when the animation is applied or the body rig is adjusted that the groom disconnects. Is there any fix or workflow for this?

You can see here this is before the animation, I am using a MoveOne animation that has been retargeted to the metahuman rig.

My binding is set and like I said before it does stay attached when moving the BP

Here is the issue with the body groom staying put while the animation is only affecting the body and not the rig.

This is a known bug, where the reference to the groom is lost during simulation.

EDIT: Just to ensure that I’m not mistaking your issue, does this occur during play/simulation (outside of the sequencer?)?

Yes and even during a render. My main question would be if there is a special way to create a groom binding or special steps to work with the body. I used the same method for the head by binding the groom to the mesh which works fine but with the body seems to not read it. I did try renaming the grooms and this still didn’t
work.
