You probably didnt uv unwrap your model while in blender
Materials, even those that come with ue4, are not displaying fully on my skeletal mesh. It seems only a base color is applied but other details don’t show up. Not in the characterBP’s viewport or in-game. Please see attached image for a clear example.
It works on other skeletal meshes, so it seems to be a problem with my model.
I’ve made the model with blender and exported as fbx. I don’t think I’ve done any texturing work in blender as I created the intended texture for it in ue4. It might be that I’ve missed something because of that.
