Matchmaking issue – players always placed into separate sessions instead of the same lobby

@flak For further context, I’m seeing this in North America region (so not just EMEA) with the below island codes. I’ve tried with different accounts on the same network, and they rarely join the same island instance.

  • 4838-9568-8460 (single-round style, free for all – seems like best case for joinability)
  • 3475-3182-7508 (multi-round, 2 teams – still failing to join the same pre-game lobby)

The only way to consistently avoid starting up a new instance is when in the same party.

I tried a few campaigns with these so it was frustrating to see a lot of players join and then very quickly exit, likely because they were in their own instance. Insert money-floating-away emoji here.

Do you mean islands done purely in fortnite vs islands done using uefn ?

Happening in islands created in UEFN, any type of matchmaking whether it’s private, playtest code, public code, etc.

Be aware that we all have a lot to lose.

I don’t want to lose any more maps​:disappointed_face:. I have been involved as a creator for over 4 years, and there is a lot of heart and soul in my work.
