Matchmaking Error! (joining UEFN experiences)

Summary

When a player goes to join a UEFN experience, they are sometimes given a “Matchmaking Error” and have to re-click the play button 10-15 times before it actually allows them into the experience.

Steps to Reproduce

Select a UEFN map, click play. IF it lets you join on the first attempt, leave and try to play again (it is more likely caused by the second thing you try to queue into).

Expected Result

You should be able to play the game.

Observed Result

You get a Matchmaking Error.

My map “Miner Tycoon 2” (2311-7649-8274) is also experiencing this issue, am getting many reports and I’ve experienced it myself for public lobbies. Switching to “Private” fixed it for me, but it doesn’t seem to be 100%

Same matchamaking error here! I haven’t had any players since the update, and I can’t access my map; it crashes after a while, saying “downloading”.

Hey Flak,

I have been experiencing this issue on my new map for a couple weeks now too. My map name is Midnight Massacre Halloween FFA (8942-1492-2947). It tries Finding Server for about 35 seconds and then throws a Matchmaking Error #1.

upvote, stuck at 1% downloading for a 2 minutes or so and then error #2 we had trouble connecting to beacon device , uefn working fine.

My map 4194-5246-3286 has the same issue. Public matchmaking blocks sometimes at downloading updates and then at 1%.
