Major - Player camera bug when using cinematic sequncer

Cinematic sequence devices can cause havoc with the player camera. Once it’s played its sequence it can randomly trigger catching the player camera. Classed as Major, as this also happens in Creative Edit and the only way to fix is to close the client and restart the cooking process again.

Device setup:

  • Level sequence with single-shot camera
  • Cinematic sequence device - set to visible player.
  • Button to trigger device on interact

Furthermore, when using a Master Sequence in UEFN (multiple level sequence shots comped together), it breaks the player camera and hangs on the last frame.

Here are the updated logs, still happening on the latest version of Public Test

Hello! This still happens! Any workaround?

@twitchSephimm Thank you for your report! We would like to look into this further, would you be able to submit a bug report using the form available here? Fortnite Creative

I assume this is the glitch that I’m experiecing currently? Whenever a cinematic finishes in my map, the player camera gets set to a random point (not where the cinematic camera was) behind them and will not move. I don’t know how to remove the setting of the camera other than disabling the cinematics for now.

@turbonz2 Thank you for your report! Can you please re-post using the “New Issue” option on the Issues and Bug Reporting forums? Posts with this feature are connected directly into our development team so we can quickly get to them!
