Major - Can't retrigger sequencer after reentering game

Issue: Unable to trigger sequence through button upon reentering the game.

Evidance:

To Reproduce:

  • Create a sequence, set it to play when pressing button
  • Play game
  • Press button to play the sequence (works fine)
  • End game
  • Start game
  • Press button to play the sequence (does not work)

UPDATE: Turns out the issue is only happening with FN assets. Static Meshes from external locations, or made with the modeling tools are not effected by this bug.

Evidence:

Upon digging farther, found that animating a blueprint has the same effect as animating a FN asset.

Hi @Cleverlike_Studios! I’ve been trying to reproduce this issue but I haven’t been able to (with simple sequences at least). Is this still reproducible on your end? If so could you try again on an empty level just to see how it behaves in a fresh project?

With the latest update (v23.00) this I also can NOT reproduce this bug, its appears to has been fixed.

I did find another bug though, I’ll link the report below as soon as I get it documented.
