Summary
When the cube floor model is at exactly world origin 0,0,0 and the top face of the floor is at zero. Then you will get this black flickering occurring when using lumen medium specifically. If the floor is moved up or down a few units the flickering stops so that’s a work around.
What Type of Bug are you experiencing?
Rendering (Graphics / Niagara)
Steps to Reproduce
Go into the first person level template, enable medium scalability. Put a lot of shadow casting objects in it, a large one to cast some big shadows and tall thinner ones also in the shadow of the large object, this can perhaps make this worse. Ensure the floor is at 0,0,0. Then move your camera around at a relatively fast pace.
Expected Result
No flickering black splotches on the floor when the camera moves in lumen medium scalability.
Observed Result
Currently we see blocks of black colour flickering as your camera moves in lumen medium scalability.
