Lumen (GI) hit lighting channel issue

Hello team,

Until now we are working with version 5.3 of the engine.

With all the features that were proposed in version 5.4, 5.5 and 5.6, we decided to launch a new project on version 5.5.

We encounter issues with the use of lighting channels when we switch to ‘Global illumination Hit Lighting’.

When a light is on light channel 1 and the entire environment is on light channel 0, the light emits indirect while technically it does not touch any surface.

We do not have this problem with surface cache.

Hello yes we don’t support lighting channels with hit-lighting yet. When you set hit lighting to reflections, then only reflections will use that path and GI will use surface cache. So that could be an option in the meantime.
