You are having camera post-processing exposure issues here.
Basically when you zoom in on a dark area, the camera compensates for the lack of light and automatically brightens your image.
Get a post processing volume in your scene and mess around with the exposure settings until they are right. If you don’t want any exposure changes, set the min and max values to be equal!
Some of lumen is screen space, check the lumen debug views under lit. There shouldn’t be drastic changes if distance fields are properly setup and the lumen scene looks accurate to the scene.
Have you found a solution to this, since i get the same problem, using manual exposure, tested with raytraced shadows and without and with simple cubes, always when coming closer they get brighter, in my case in an exterior. The problem is gone only when turning off lumen, I checked for debug views all are ok, cards also ok, to double check i just placed ordinaray cubes and this effect still exists, maybe its a camera problem? Willk post my scene here as well.
Any news on this problem guys?
