Lower quality render than viewport

Hey guys! I have a strange issue when rendering out from sequencer using the movie render queue. Please see the images attached. In the rendered image, the trees in the background doesn’t look the same as in the viewport. This leads me to believe that this is a foliage issue. I have played around with the cull distance and have also disabled and LODs for all the foliage actors but obviously it didn’t fix the issue.

I am new to UE in general (coming from vfx background) so please forgive me if the solution is something really basic. UE 5.3.2 is the version I am using.

Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance!

hi @silverlsword ,

The viewport picture has error message LANDSCAPE MATERIALS need to be rebuilt

in the Japanese shrine version the materials have been built.
My suggestion is that you use CPU Lightmass to rebuild as there are problems with Epic GPULightmass.
Build → Build Lighting only if this does not stop the error message do Build All.

This would seem that the sequencer using the movie render queue. Built the lighting for movie render Queue.

The trees look completely different on the top of Landscape.
Mmy skill is building with LGPU which is much faster and works at Production Levels
