Hey there @Twan_so-kl ! Are you working in 5.5 or 5.6? It seems localization may have a bug for these two versions. Take a look at these threads and try their solutions out:
SOLUTION:
Download the following files.
UE 5.5 locmeta & manifest
Engine.locmeta (159 Bytes)
Engine.manifest (28.2 MB)
Go to C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_5.6\Engine\Content\Localization\Engine and paste locmeta and manifest files (change/overwrite the files).
Open the engine.
Disable Live Coding (optional). [image]
Uncheck Target Dependencies (default Engine and Editor checked, disable all) [image]
And voila! You are now able to gather and compile text. [image]

5.6 here, I did all the steps : copying the manifest files from 5.5, turning off live coding, but I didn’t remove the target dependencies.
In my case, Gather Text wasn’t working or updating for any assets, just code localized text. I read the log and one suspicious line popped up then no details at all for any assets being scanned.
