Lightning error

Hello,
i managed to seperate the doors from the city sample vehicles via blender. Everything looks great, until i play. As you can see in the first picture, the right car (which is the seperated one) looks alright. But as soon as i play, it looks not right. I also get some errors when i build the lightning.
I hope someone can help me.
Thank you

in my opinion, that’s material’s error but not the lighting, But you still can lock the postvolumexxxxx, the explore, max and min number.
And the warning is tell you about the material and UV, but not lightings

Well when separating the Doors, Lighting will effect them if they’re static or not. Are the Doors moveable and the cars are static? If so its because the baking is treating them differently in LOD

just make them same. Moveable or static, maybe moveable better.
All of them make them moveable. Even though it will cause some trouble if sth. has physical collision, different type i rememeber that will cause different light result maybe/

Hey, thanks for your answers. I did make them all movable, so they are all the same. When I make them static the car is unable to drive, because the doors dont move.

Are the vehicles a BP or separate because if you add them to a BP and Add the doors as components should help with your static problem

The doors are seperate static meshes in the vehicle blueprint. But everything is in the same blueprint.

Did you socket them to the vehicle

I dont know what you mean. So i just put the static meshes in the blueprint.

Inside the Vehicle BP, you added the doors to it? Correct. If so inside the BP Highlight the vehicle Screenshot - 8287fc09a767a0e1b627bd1a5b116648 - Gyazo and the Doors should be attached as in the image with my backpack etc. on the right side of the BP window You’ll see Parent Socket Screenshot - 75a2eb22a3252c04616d51bc8449ce12 - Gyazo attach the doors to a socket of the vehicle

Ah okay. So i tried this but my socket window is blanked out?

You have to create one, Inside the Skeleton of the Vehicle pick the bone you want the doors to sit and right click the bone and add Socket

Okay thank you I will try this tomorrow and get back here.
