Lighting has weird artifatcts


I am relatively new to UE4 and while working on this Room, I encountered the Problem as seen inthe picture.
There are those weird shadows and light spots, especially right above the wood part on the left.
Any Ideas what the reason could be?

Lightmap Resolution is set to 1024 und the Lightmapdensity looks like this


It could be the lightmap resolution of the wall.


It looks like a preview quality build… ? Also maybe your lightmap compression is still on… And maybe you’re using either DFAO and/or raytraced AO?

1024 is probably not enough, also see Makigirl’s comment :slight_smile:
