I am using the Unreal Engine water system that was implemented in 4.26 and want to enable light shafts on my directional light while underwater to help simulate volumetric light, however the light shafts do not appear when under the water surface. They do work above water though. I have also tried enabling volumetric fog in my exponential height fog, but that also made no difference. Is there a setting I’m missing or some modification I should make to the water material that would allow this to work?
