Light not casting shadows in UE 5.1 and MacOS 13.1

Hello everyone!

I am running Unreal on MacOS 13.1 and Unreal 5 Version: 5.1.0-23058290, and trying to build a scene with a light casting shadows, but no shadows are cast

However when running the same scene on Windows shadows are cast

I’m not sure what I am doing wrong here or if this is an issue with UE5 running on MacOS? Any suggestions?

Try switching the shadow method for Mac to Cascading Shadow Maps. The default (Virtual Shadow Maps) are in Beta so that might be the problem. This change is made under the project settings.
