light leeking through walls

I am still very new to unreal engine. I have encountered an issue where lighting will leek through walls and through the floor. I have tried to put another box in front of the lighting and it does not fix the issue. I have been searching through forums for quite a while and tried all of the possible solutions. None of them will work. Including changing all the brushes to a double sided mesh. I am not sure if I am building correctly or if I am doing something wrong.


Hi, some screenshots of how you set up walls and floors would help. You should seperate your rooms as much as you can. For example not using one floor brush/mesh underneath multiple rooms.Things like that can cause bleeding and other problems as well.

Stupid question - did you even bake the lighting?
