When I would build the light of my project, it would a few squares would appear on the textures. I believe it has something to do with the uv mapping but I have no clue how to fix it.
What you need to do is create a second UV set and create another unwrap with no UV shells sharing the same space, here is a good video to get you started: Lightmaps
The video was quite helpful, and I more or less understood what I need to be doing. Though I construct 3D models in Sketchup, so is there anyway to do that in Sketchup, or will I need to download 3D max?
I’m not sure if there is any way to create a second UV channel in Sketchup but it definitely is in 3DS Max, Maya and Blender (Blender is free)
