Light bake not working with world aligned texture node

My asset is a pipe.
The pipe is being lit primarily with a stationary spotlight.

I’ve also attached the world lightmass settings for your reference.

When i use the world aligned texture node to texture the pipe and bake the light. there is absolutely no indirect light bake.

But when i attach just the texture sample node to the shader without the world aligned texture node, i get plenty of indirect light bake.

why does lightbake not work properly when using the world aligned texture node?
