Summary

I went up 6 levels while playing in creative mode however when i went back to lobby my level dropped back down to what it was before. I tried a few maps and even had friends try. They lost their levels too. The leveling up wont stay unless I play on an epic made map.

Steps to Reproduce

Go into creative mode (i played a tycoon game) level up and return to lobby. Witness the loss of xp and levels.

Expected Result

Levels and xp gained in creative mode should still be there when returning to lobby

Observed Result

Levels and xp gained during creative mode play is lost when returning to lobby

I’ve literally lost at least 20 levels just in the Fortnite OG season alone. Problem is consistent with both PlayStation and Nintendo switch. I think the bug is with the game and not any certain console.

I’m having the same problem in my PC, I level up to 54 today, but when I got back to the lobby I was back to 50, not to mention there are days that I not getting a drop of XP even if is the first map I play on the day, I was planning in buying a Battle Pass but when this problem keeps happening It doesn’t seem worth it.

Happened to me couple days ago.

I maxed out creative XP in a Zombie map, the server reset along with my levels. After that I was still also NOT able to get anymore creative XP because it had been maxed.

Couple hours being carried by my nephews in BR got my levels back but still sucks I lost out on all the time I spend during the day.

Same thing happened to me after levelling up 5 times in a Tycoon then going back to lobby and I was back down 5 levels.

Same, maxed out my creative xp for the day, went back to the lobby and it was all gone. still happening to me.

It happened to me just now, I literally grinded 3 lvls an hour and as soon as I return to lobby all changes were not save and im so frustrated spending time in that creative game in order to get xp but at the end did not obtained it. Epic fix this issue asap.

This happened to me two days in a row. I leveled up a few times in a creative map yesterday, but the levels disappeared when I returned to lobby. Same thing happened again today.

Just happened to me, I leveled up 5 levels went back to lobby and they are gone now😭

I just experienced the same. Now that earning experience in creative mode are daily quests there is no way for me to complete them. :frowning:

Also having this issue. Three days in a row I’ve gained 5 levels in a creative map, maxed out xp from the map, went back to lobby, and lost all the levels I had just gained. If I go back to do it again I can’t get any more xp because I already maxed it out. The creative map xp daily challenges also aren’t updating so I’m unable to fulfill those quests.

Just had this happen to me on PC today. Lost 3 or 4 levels when in a Creative game (custom Lego creative tycoon).

This has been happening to me as well over the last two days… i swear i should be like 10 levels more than it says I am…it’s already hard enough to level up this season… this is very frustrating :upside_down_face:

Same here. I’ll level up in creative and then when i go back to the lobby i go back where i started before going to the creative.
