Lag & FPS drop, need help with optimization


Guys, These are pictures from two different projects using the same trees. Now, I’m getting a massive fps drop in one project where I have about 90k instances of these trees. The other one, I have 120k with a much heavier landscape material and a much higher scalability setting and yet im pushing 40-50. I’ve tried reducing the textures, I’ve tried reducing the landscape texture size, I’ve tried reducing teh foliage density and alot of that stuff but nothing budges the FPS. Does anyone here have any ideas on what to do to improve FPS? We are using a meta human character in the project with low fps. We’ve also got a lot of other meshes and that project is detailed for sure, but removing the trees makes a difference, removing teh foliage completely makes a difference, not that much but still, some difference. Please, I need some help here, folks.

Seems like the warning messages are pretty relevant, you’re running out of vram and have hundreds of lights, both will tank performance.
