It seems it is impossible to play two creative games in a row

Summary

We have to restart Fortnite or kick players, for some reason we get matchmaking errors or sessions simply not connecting

Play two or more creator made experiences in a row in a party or by yourself, for example: Salts, Frozen Lake

( There are no issues in the experiences themselves preventing the launch )

Expected Result

Can play as many games as you like without having to restart Fortnite between games or kick players

Observed Result

Session never connecting/ matchmaking errors

Where the island needs at least two users playing the game with Privacy set to Public.

When an island has no players,

1. Start the game

  1. Press the keyboard escape key
  2. Click Return to lobby
  3. In the lobby, start the game again
  4. just keeps saying “Connecting…”
  5. for 10 minutes, then “Network Error” and returns to the lobby.
  6. Now you have to stop Fortnite because every island has the same problem
  7. Start Fortnite and play island with two or more users, and the island will connect
  8. This affects all consoles and PC with the “Server not responding” error message occasionally

No not at all. None of my islands require two players to play, they only require downloading the game.

FORT-1035441 has been ‘Closed’ as a duplicate of an existing known issue. Origin Issue: FORT-1035002

The status of FORT-1035002 changed to ‘Needs Triage’. We’ve confirmed the issue and it’s waiting to be assigned to someone to fix it.

As of today’s update, has this issue been fixed?

When a fix is ready, the bug reporter’s status will update with the version the fix is scheduled for.
