Issue launching RC after 1.4.1 Update

Summary

I’ve been using RealityCapture 1.4 with no issues for the last six months and today I installed the update to 1.4.1 and now when I launch RealityCapture (from the Epic Installer or from the short cut) my computer starts turning, I can see RC in the Task Manager, but the application is never launched. I’ve attempted fully uninstalling all of RealityCapture from my machine and doing a fresh install, resulting in the same issue. I’m running Windows 11.

Steps to Reproduce

There are no additional steps, this is failing at launch.

Expected Result

Something seems to have happened with my install of 1.4.1 and is continuing to happen regardless of it being uninstalled and reinstalled.

Observed Result

RealityCapture 1.4.1 does not launch, can not open existing files on my computer and seems to run infinitely in the background.

Reality Capture tab not working on Epic Games Lancher

Hi, On the Epic Games Launcher, when I click on Reality Capture tab, nothing happens. I have tried on different computers and the problem is only persistent on one. I have tried to update the launcher, restart the launcher, log-out & log-in, restart the computer but nothing seems to work. It seems to be a bug. Anyone else is having the same issue.

Thanks for sharing the other posts. I’ve tried those solutions and have now submitted a technical ticket to the support team. I’m still experiencing the issue and naturally, on a deadline
