A bit of a weird case where I would like to use lightmaps on a dynamic actor. In this case, I have a cockpit where much of the scene is lit from within the actor itself - hence it moving around would not make the lighting inconsistent and performance is enough of an issue (VR) where I would really like to avoid using dynamic lights if at all possible.
Perhaps a long shot, but I wanted to see if I had any options. Currently im leaning towards generating them in Maya, but i dare say I understand ue has some features (directional light maps) that I would rather like to take advantage of.
