I’m excited to share a groundbreaking 3D modeling system that could greatly benefit developers and creators using Unreal Engine and other Epic platforms. This new system seamlessly integrates polygon modeling with NURBS modeling, merging the precision of NURBS with the intuitive experience of polygon tools. One of the standout features is its ability to significantly reduce the data required to store 3D models, potentially eliminating the need for re-topology and streamlining your workflow.
My research paper titled “Full Paper 9. Node Bearing Vector System: Advancing 3D/2D Vector Storage and Mesh Design” has been accepted for an oral presentation at the 2024 IEEE 3rd International Conference on Intelligent Reality (ICIR 2024). While the detailed findings will be available through IEEE Xplore post-conference, I’m eager to engage with the Epic Games community to explore how this system can enhance your projects and development processes.
