As title says, when I click on 5.6.0 install button nothing happens…
I have several versions installed and never had issues.
Now I finally wanted to test 5.6 but it simply does not install.
I deleted epic games launcher cache to no avail, I reinstalled launcher to no avail.
I definitely have enough space on disk…
HI @TOYSTORYLAB ,
First, try running the Epic Games Launcher as administrator.
It’s a bit odd that you still see version 5.6.0, since on my end it already shows 5.6.1, which replaced the previous build with the hotfix

There’s also a thread that talks about this topic.
I work for a University and Unreal 5 has a fairly major problem, from what I can tell.
You can’t download past versions.
Imagine your studio/uni has a specific version installed. You are working for months/years and Epic updates to 5.0.4, or 5.1. Your project is on 5.0.3, but you don’t update (common in pipes and studios). Well, if one of your workers/students has a hardware failure and needs a new PC, they are in serious trouble. They can’t get the previous version from Epic.
There are, BAD,…
I also found a post where people shared several possible solutions to the install button issue ,maybe one of them will help:
Hey, so as the title says, I recently moved to a new computer that I used the engine on without any issues, but now can’t install Unreal Engine at all. The Epic launcher has all installation options greyed out, tried reinstalling, repairing, even doing a fresh windows install since this was the only thing installed on it so far, but nothing works. Some suggested to just wait, but I left it open for a good couple of hours and nothing changed.

Thanx for chiming in.
I already did run as administrator to no avail.
Yeah, odd 5.6.1 does not show up.
I am not in studio anymore but will check those links tomorrow.
Thanks
Unfortunately still not able to install. Install button simply does not react ;-(
I assume there are no other ways to install?
Damned…
I uninstalled everything related to Epic/Unreal, tried to remove every trace and reinstalled launcher.
Still no UE install possible!
This is a disaster for me… I really need help ;-(
