For my game Sirius Online, the Sun is implemented as one point light, since there is no directional light with a perspective shadowing option. But unfortunately, the shadows from a point light are incredibly pixelated - 1 pixel per 1000 units.
How do I increase the shadowmap resolution for this point light? Using Distance Field Shadows isn’t really working out well, since I use translucent materials for planet atmosphere (which, for whatever reason, don’t support that).
