ImgMedia Not Supported on Android

Hi，

​The ImgMedia feature provided by the UE media component currently only supports selection and use on PC. The project requires this functionality on mobile devices. Are there any relevant plugins that can support this, or are there alternative solutions to achieve imgMedia playback through UE’s media component?

We attempted to forcibly extend the support of this component to mobile devices, and it appears to work normally for now. What potential risks might arise from using it in this way?

Hi XinHao,

The platform limitations of the ImgMedia plugin seem to be arbitrary as the implementation appears to be fully platform agnostic. Enabling it as you have should be OK with the primary risk being that this hasn’t been extensively tested on our end.
