I declared trader status but I'm getting a warning?

@Tyler_X Hello!

I chose not to be a trader, but nothing further happens, my products are currently unavailable in the EU.

On the tab: Publisher Settings / Traider Info, I see “Declare your trader status”

If you click on the link, you can see my choice of “Non-Trader”, but there is no additional confirmation. I think there should be a “next” or “done” button somewhere to confirm the selection.

UPD – Now for the place of the inscription “Declare your trader status” I see “Updating your Trader status” in the seller’s page, information about the non-trader also appeared on the “About” tab, but the products are still not displayed in the EU.

To be clear, if you were already a verified trader and got a message about verifying your address, you are still a verified trader and you are still able to sell to users in the EU.

You just need to do address verification by March 10, 2025 if you want to remain a verified trader + keep selling to the EU beyond March 10, 2025.

I think this is fixed now, for you, at least. If anyone else changes their trader/non-trader status and encounters issues, please contact support.

My trader status has disappeared and I now see “Declare your trader status”. Client from EU seems to confirm this.
(Earlier today I still was a trader)
You can check it out yourself: https://www.fab.com/sellers/Eugene1sv
I asked you questions what to do in all these topics, but no reaction? And this all happens during the sale event?
Please check this out.

I provided documents to verify my address, but I still see this message:
“Unable to verify address
We verified your identity but couldn’t verify your address. We’ll email you at *****@gmail.com with a link to upload a different proof of address in the next few days.”
Did the documents fail verification? What does this mean?
Thanks.

Are you seeing that on the trader tab of your seller portal? If so, that message just shows until the documents you submitted have been reviewed by Trolley.

Yes, I see in Trader Info tab. Ok, so I’m waiting verification.

@Eugene1sv1 Your trader status has been confirmed, information about the trader is visible from the EU, and the product are also displayed.

Am I right in understanding that if you don’t want to verify me as a trader, even though I provided you with documents such as a passport and registration, then my goods will not be visible from the EU?

Your account seems to have Trader status properly set.

Do you experience the same problem? I have submitted an utility bill with my name and address, and got a reply stating “Address verification unsuccessful”

Trader status will be lost on March 10th, according to Epic.

I hope it just a ui bug for the warning banner because not much days left

I wouldn’t count on that…

Has anyone solved this problem so far? Although I submitted it to the staff, the response I received was to wait ten minutes and refresh the browser, which did not work. I changed three browsers and could not see the additional submission window again. If anyone has solved it, can you share the solution?

Same situation here. Did the verification according to the email from Feb 18th and it seems it wasn’t accepted even though it was a government issued tax doc. So now I have my credit card bill from my bank to try again but it seems we have to wait for another email to arrive but we don’t know when it will come.

Please Epic send this email so we can try again, I don’t want to lose the ability to sell to the EU…

Yeah exactly the same as me, frustrating.

Hi everyone.

There are a lot of different concerns voiced here, so I’ll do my best to address them all.

  1. If you’re seeing a banner on Fab about self-identifying as a trader or non-trader or completing trader verification (which may include address verification), it is because an action is required from you if you want to distribute your products to users in the European Union.
  • If you haven’t self-identified as a trader or non-trader, please go here to do so.
  • If you identified yourself as a trader, you may not have successfully completed some or all steps of trader verification. Full trader verification is composed of ID verification, address verification, and email verification. Please please go here to complete any remaining steps.
  1. Some of you may have previously completed trader verification and been considered verified traders. An audit of our records indicated that for some of you your address document(s) needed additional review. Thus, even if you were verified previously, you must now re-complete address verification if you wish to retain your trader verification status beyond March 10, 2025. Until March 10, 2025 you are still a verified trader and are still able to distribute products to users in the European Union.

  2. If you have attempted address verification and submitted one or more new address documents since February 18, 2025 but are encountering an “Unable to verify address” message in the Publishing Portal, please ignore it. We will be in touch with you by email in the coming days to let you know if your address verification was successful. We are also updating the text that appears there to be more correct and helpful.

  3. We’ve learned that many people have attempted to submit any bill or invoice as proof of address. If you’re submitting a bill, only submit a utility bill – that’s gas, electric, water, internet, telephone and not groceries, online shopping orders, or flower deliveries – or the verification will fail.

  4. The document(s) that you submit for address verification must:

  • Display the same name and address that you provided when you signed up for Fab
  • Be from the last six months
  1. In some cases, trader verification (which includes address verification) will take several business days to be processed. We will send you an email when you have either passed or failed address verification.

  2. We have replaced the verified trader checkmark next to the publisher name with trader info in the About tab of the publisher’s profile.

  3. If you have any questions or concerns about the status of your self-identification or trader verification, please reach out to our support team.

UPDATE: Please do not send your ID or proof of address documents to our support team. They are not the people who can or will be able to verify your information. All documents for verification must be submitted through the Trader Info tab of Publisher Settings.
