HTC Vive Loading level or high loads(spawning actors) cuts to SteamVR dashboad

Hi all,

as asked in the thread Level Loading In Unreal 4 With The HTC Vive - Cuts to Vive/SteamVR Dashboard on Level Load - VR and AR Development - Unreal Engine Forums
how can I stop my project flicking to the SteamVR dashboard under heavy loads? reworking my level loading to use level streaming would solve some of this but it happens under heavy load as well not just loading levels so my ingame mesh hands turn back to Vive controller models for a split second when spawning actors. Is there a easy way to stop this I cant find any info.
