Level Loading In Unreal 4 With The HTC Vive - Cuts to Vive/SteamVR Dashboard on Level Load

Has anyone figured out a solution to the level loading glitch where on level load the HMD cuts to the Vive/SteamVR dashboard?

I looked into the level streaming method but it’s not going to work for what I’m doing.

I remember when I was developing on the DK2 I didn’t have this issue, so I know it’s possible…

Any ideas?

check the steamvr update changelog, they listed an option to disable this behavior.

Is this something that would be set in the Steam VR settings or in Unreal?
