How to import my custom HDR image into texture cube?

Hello
I would like to create a texture cube with my HDR image. I can’t find texture cube from creation menu, so I duplicate one from engine content and change the image path. When I hit reimport button, the engine give a warning and tell me the current HDR is in used and can’t be replaced. Can anyone tell me what is the correct way to do this, thanks!

Hello Jack, you can simply drag and drop your HDR image (or any content you would like to import) into the Content Browser, like this:

In order to import a texture as a TextureCube asset, the file needs to be a .hdr file.

If it’s not a .hdr file then you’ll need to convert it. Substance Designer will do it, possibly also GIMP, but you can search online and there are probably other tools as well.

Thanks, I have imported my HDR successfully!
