How to fix different lighting on identical modular objects?

Sorry for the probably very noob question, but I know very little about lighting and rendering and can’t seem to find the right search term. Ive set up a VR template project in UE 5.4 and used some free assets to make a basic room out of multiple wall and floor meshes. However, having built the lighting, I get this effect, where identical wall tiles which are right next to each other are lit differently with distinct borders

If anyone knows what is causing this, I would be grateful for the info

You can tweak the lightmass params to fix it, but I can’t recall how off the top of my head.

It has been answered on here about 500 times, I will see if I can find it…

Found some… it’s to do with the light calculation being performed separately for each mesh. See the Tim Hobson answer in this thread
