How to build lights on movable objects?

I know movable objects cannot be baked but I’m sure there should be a way to fix this.

In this picture the kitchen cabinet door on the left side is movable and the right one is static (this is after I build lights on my level). As you can see they look different and in my opinion, the right one looks more realistic, but I can’t move and interact with it anymore.

I want to be able to make movable objects more realistic(lighting) and also be able to move them in the game.

What is the easiest way to fix this problem?

Which lighting model are you using? Is it baked lighting or lumen?

Baked

Hi! Click on your mesh, and on the Details tab(right side of the screen) search for “Lightmap Type” and select “Force Volumetric”. Most in the cases it’s fix the light problemes with movable objects.

Thank you for that, But I tried your method and I don’t think it worked…

The right one is movable, the midle one is your method and the left one is movable too but it has (Distance Field Indirect Shadow) turend on which I think is looking very good.

Ok, I think I have solved it!

The first one (from the top) is the normal movable object.
The second one is a normal static object.
The third one is movable but with (Force Volumetric) on Details > Lightmap type
And the fourth one is movable but with (Force Surface) on Details > Lightmap type

With this result, I think the fourth one is the best one, but I have to try and see if it works on other movable objects.
Thank you all for helping! Let me know if you found a different method or a better one.
