How do you bake ray-traced shadows?

As far as I’m aware you can only make ray-traced shadows with dynamic lights. I cannot figure out how to make them using stationary or static lights, any of my results are either entirely sharp, or extremely soft shadows.

Ray Traced Distance Field shadows do not get baked. These are a fully dynamic solution for shadowing.

These can be used in conjunction with other light mobilities. For instance, static lights will only light objects that are static in the scene, however, if you have a light with its mobility set to stationary the Static mobility actors in the scene can receive baked static lighting and any dynamic movable object will receive RTDF shadowing.
