How do I get rid of glare from directional light?

Hi, so I am very new to Unreal Engine and I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the glare from a directional light.

I am trying to remove the white aspect of the light, while keeping the clouds their color. Right now I have a sky atmosphere in the scene coloring the world. with a directional light. If I change the directional lights color, it changes the clouds as well.

Lighting can be tricky, but you can try to untick “Atmosphere Sun Light” in your directional light under the details panel. I’m not sure if that will change any of your other settings though.

Try setting Mie Exponential Distribution down as low as it can go. Usually its locked to 0.001 as the lowest value but the bloom/flare effect from the directional light if it show up behind maybe an HDR or some skybox you have in scene it will remove that glow from being visible.
