How do I change the quality of shadows on a static mesh? ( shadows causing lag)

Lot of shadows are causing massive lag in my level, but its only because of the multiple shadows on my static mesh, now I want to reduce shadow quality on that particular mesh only and not the over all world shadow quality, how do I do that?


Ok so if you have static lighting then it doesn’t matter how many lights cast shadow on the object: once your lighting was built it’s like a texture…
If you want to reduce shadow quality (still talking about static lighting) just reduce the lightmap resolution of the mesh!
