I made an interior space and I lit the scene using two rect light sources. When I look in the direction of the light, the scene is lit up with indirect lighting beautifully, but when I turn away, all indirect lighting disappears and my scene fades to complete blackness.
I do not have lumen enabled. My initial guess was that the light was being culled. But when I disable occlusion culling entirely my issue remains. This seems like an issue that can be fixed with baked lighting, but I’ve heard a lot of issues with lightmass being in beta and I’m not sure how to approach baked lighting safely in UE5.
Normally with an issue like this I would tinker until I found the solution. But this issue causes my whole level’s brightness to sorta strobe slowly when I look around, and this is genuinely making me nauseous (I already puked). So help would be much appreciated.
