how can I make a DARK LIGHT-Shadow Subtractor ue4-5

how can I make a DARK LIGHT, dimmer, shadow subtractor, light absorber, Ue4-5
not lumen

I’m trying to show you what effect I want to achieve.

The goal is to use light (shadow subtractor) instead of complex GI

by arranging them by level, create the illusion of Gi

My ideas-

  1. create a Channel 2 refresh layer and get Channel 2 in PPM and subtract it from the scene

  2. make an add-on over the render

Thank you all

google is a thing. you know?!? : )

Yes, I know, I’ve tried, but that’s not what I need, the lamp is shining with a shadow here, I need to darken the shadow.,

here’s a comparison
1-negative light
2-what I need

Thanks for trying, thank you

disable the shadows. tweak the color to neutralize the tint and exposure. radius limited and intensity down. gotta do a lil art to get this to work. it’s fairly small but you can change height or find a better ies texture. what you’d probably need is a flat grey texture with lil exposure.

lil bigger, but obviously has larger range and hard exposure on walls.

Ehh, for some reason it doesn’t work, I don’t use Lumen

and it doesn’t affect the shadow for me.

works for me. no lumen. shadow mapped directional light. megalight is off for this light. ue 5.5.3.

maybe you’re setting up something other than what’s in the screenshot details

Oh, can you just send me this project that is config+content?
I sooo need an anti light

or create bp-LIGHT and send me bp_LIGHT.uasset

sample setup.
